Mrs. Sam Rankin Heads Bayview Cemetery Group
The Old Bayview Cemetery Association met yesterday afternoon at the Nueces Hotel to elect officers. They are: Mrs. Sam Rankin, president; Mrs. John Boerum, vice-president; Mrs. Vincent Bluntzer, recording secretary; Mrs. Mabel Williams, corresponding secretary, and Mrs. William Biggio, treasurer.
After discussion it was decided that a committee be appointed to contact descendants of the pioneers buried in the historic cemetery to ask their assistance for financial aid to build a new fence around the lot.
