Death of an Old Settler
Died in Corpus Christi, Texas, November 11, 1904 at 12:15 a.m. at the home or her son-in-law, Perry Downs, on the bluff, Mrs. Berg, a native of Braumstadt. Hamburg, Germany, aged 80 years and 8 months. Mrs. Berg, who came to Corpus Christi 31 years ago, leaves besides her daughter, Mrs. Downs, one son, Henry Berg, in Wyoming. The funeral took place this afternoon at 3 o'clock, services conducted by Rev. A. J. Holworthy.
