Obituary of Capt. H. W. Berry

DIED

Berry- In Corpus Christi, Texas May 15th, 1888, at 9 p.m., Capt. H. W. Berry, aged 69 years, 10 months and 23 days. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.  Every business house in town was closed as the sad procession passed.  His work on this earth is finished and he is gone, but not forgotten. His place in the hearts of his many friends can never be filled.  The Caller joins in heartfelt sympathy with the numerous friends and afflicted family (The Caller will shortly give a brief sketch of the Captain’s life.)
