Married, at the home of the bride on the Bluff, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Thursday evening, Feb. 22, 1906, at 8:30 o’clock, Rev. S. B. Beall, officiating, Mrs. Lee H. Berry to Miss Mary Lawrence.
The Wedding was a quiet affair and was witnessed by a few intimate friends and relatives of the contracting parties. The attendants were Mr. H. L. Berry and Miss Emily Kerridge. After the ceremony, refreshments were served and a band of music discoursed sweet strains for several hours, Mr. Berry and his bride are two of Corpus Christi’s popular citizens, and are well known _______ having lived here all their lives. The Caller joins many friends in wishing for them a long and prosperous married life.

OBITUARY
Mary Lawrence Berry
Died, in Corpus Christi, Texas Friday, June 29, 1906, at 4:30 p.m. at her home on the Bluff, Mary E. Lawrence, Wife of L. H. Berry, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, born February ___, 1854.
The news of the death of this estimable lady, though a surprise to many was somewhat expected by those near and dear to her, as for the past four days her condition was critical. Two weeks ago she returned home from San Antonio, where she went for medical treatment and was confined to her bed shortly after returning. Deceased had been in impaired health for several weeks past, but was only confined to her bed eight days when she succumbed.
On February 22, of this year Miss Mary, as she was familiarly known to her numerous friends, was united in marriage to Mr. Lee Berry, who is well known here and has the deepest sympathy of many friends, for the short married life of this couple was one round of serene happiness, ended only with the sad farewell when the soul of the loved one took its flight from its citadel of pain to a realm where perpetual light awaited her in the home of an Omnipotent Father.
Besides her grief-stricken husband, deceased leaves to mourn her loss an aged mother, Mrs. Lawrence, a brother Walter Lawrence, and other relatives, among them T. M. Lawrence, all of whom have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in their sad hours. _____ residence on the Bluff at 1 0:30 o’clock last Saturday, the obsequies being
conducted at the house and grave by Rev. S. B. Beall and interment being made in old Bayview cemetery in the family burial lot.
