Obituary

Death of Mrs. Darby
The death of Mrs. Dan Darby, a native of Corpus Christi, occurred on Dec. 7th at 3 o’clock p.m., at the residence of Fred Gold on Carrizo street, after an illness extending over the past several months. The deceased is survived by her husband, Dan Darby, of Flour Bluff, and a small daughter. She was a member of one of the pioneer families of Corpus Christi being the daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. W. Roscher. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock from the residence of Fred Gold, Rev. H. S. Springhall, pastor of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was made in the old cemetery in the family burying grounds.
