Obituary

DIED -- EIDLEBACH --- In Corpus Christi, Texas, on Sunday night, Sept. 9, 1888, at 10:30 o’clock of erysipelas, LAURA WILHELMINA, wife of Henry Eidlebach, aged about 36 years.

Mr. Eidlebach moved his family here from Matagorda about three weeks ago and left soon afterwards for Pattersonville, La., after a schooner load of shingles for the Sidbury lumber yard. At the time of his wife’s death Mr. Eidlebach had not returned. The lady who was sick only about four days, leaves five children, the youngest being eight months old. The death was a very sad one. Mr. Eidlebach returned to Corpus Wednesday evening.
