Obituary

Death of Mrs. Garcia
At four o'clock Monday morning, this well known lady resident of our city, widow of Joseph Garcia, departed this life after a lingering illness of about four months. Deceased, upon the death of husband, kept up the business he had established with marked success, by settled up all outstanding indebtedness of her husband's estate, exhibiting an energy and experience unusual with her sex, towards continuance of the establishment on corner of Mesquite and Lawrence Streets. She leaves quite a list of friends to mourn her loss, together with a daughter and other relatives. The latter are expected to arrive soon. Mrs. Garcia was noted for her many kindnesses and charities to the poor. Peace be with thee.
