JOHN HOLBEIN DEATH VICTIM

John M. Holbein, 60, died Sunday night at 8:15 o'clock after an illness of about 19 days.

Mr. Holbein was widely known in this section having been born and raised in Corpus Christi.  For a number of years he had been retired from business.  He is survived by one brother.  Rueben Holbein Sr. who resides in Hebbronville.

Funeral services will be held today at 4 o'clock from the David Peel chapel with the Rev. J. W. Sykes officiating.  Burial will be in the old Bayview Cemetery, under the direction of David T. Peel.  Pallbearers will be:  W. F. Timon, Willie Biggio, Parnot Donigan, Tobe Fitzsimmons, Jeff Powers and Jonas Weil.

Funeral services for Paul M. Holbein, 60, who died Sunday night at 8:15 o'clock after an illness of about 10 days, were held yesterday afternoon from the David T. Peel chapel with the Rev. J. W. Sykes officiating. Burial was in the old Bayview cemetery.

Mr. Holbein was widely known in this section, having been born and reared in Corpus Christi.  For a number of years he had been retired from business.  He is survived by one brother, Rueben Holbein Sr., who lives in Hebbronville.
