Obituary
DIED – On Saturday the 12 inst., in this city, Martha, wife of John L.Hunsaker, in the 45th year of her age. The deceased had for several years past been a resident of Corpus Christi, and from her noble and high toned bearing, had won the universal esteem of our community. Her death is a severe loss and sorrowfully does it penetrate the heart of all. Her wise counsels, geniality, fine attainments and all that makes woman the lofty being designed by the Creator, are hushed in the sleep that knows no waking. She died as only the Christian dies, full of faith, and a full knowledge that her "Redeemer liveth." In unison with our people, we sincerely extend our condolence to the bereaved husband, and grief-stricken family in their said bereavement.
