Obituary

DIED

Kaler - Four miles West of Corpus Christi, December 21st, 1887, at 2:15 a.m., of hemorrhage, William Elmer Kaler, son of Fred and Mary Kaler, aged 21 years, 6 months and 20 days.

The funeral took place Thursday at 10 a.m. from the residence of the father.

The deceased had typhoid fever, had been confined to his room a few days only, was a young man very highly respected by those who knew him and an excellent christian gentleman.  In him, his father, and his brothers and sisters lose a dutiful son and brother, the community, a good citizen, and the church a worthy member.  May our loss be his eternal gain.
