Obituary
MRS. R. M. LAUGLIN DIED
Mrs. H. J. Laughlin, after a long illness, died Thursday evening at 6:10 o'clock at the home of her son, Mr. J. R. Laughlin, on King street. She had been very feeble for several years and her eyesight failed some time ago, making her last years full of suffering. Mrs. Laughlin was seventy one years of age and was a native of Benton County Missouri. She came to Texas and this section about sixteen years ago to make her home with her sons and daughters, with whom she remained until her death. All of her children were present at her bedside at the time of her death. The are J. T. Laughlin, of Austin, W. A. Laughlin of Waco, C. M. Laughlin of Falfurrias, J. R. and J. N. and Miss Belle Laughlin of this city. The funeral took place at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the residence of Mr. J. R. Laughlin _______ in the old Bay View Cemetery, Rev. D. B. South of the Baptist church conducting the services.
