Obituary

DEATH OF OLD CITIZEN

LEY -- Died in Corpus Christi, Texas, July 27, 1892 at 10:45 a.m., Mrs. Mary C. Ley, a native of Germany, aged 61 years, 3 months, and 13 days. The death of Mrs. Ley was a great surprise to many of our city for she was ill only a few days. It is thought the worry from the loss by the recent fire and other matters brought about her speedy death. The funeral took place Thursday at 11 a.m. from Mr. Molauder’s residence. By Mrs. Ley’s death Corpus Christi loses an old citizen and a kind-hearted woman.
