McCOMB – In Corpus Christi, Texas, Saturday, Dec. 21st, 1884, at 5:30 a.m., Mrs. Margaret McComb, aged 84 years, 8 months and 11 days. Mrs. McComb was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and immigrated to this city from Glasgow, Scotland, with others in 1853. About a year ago she lost the use of her eye sight, and her mind became affected at times. Two weeks previous to her death her mind recovered but her strength was gone and she was helpless and soon passed to the other world, retaining her speech up to the moment of her death. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
