Obituary

DIED

ROGERS-In San Antonio, Tuesday, august 3rd, 1886, at 4 a.m., of consumption, Theresa, second daughter of W. L. and J. Rogers, in her 28 year. Miss Theresa had been in ill-health for some months and about six weeks ago left Corpus for San Antonio where she was advised by her physician to travel in the country, but alas, it was too late. The body was brought to this city, arriving here by Wednesday night's train, when the funeral procession was formed and the remains carried to the city cemetery and interred by the grave of her father as she had requested. The afflicted family have the sympathies of the entire community in their bereavement.
