Obit No. 1

Mrs. Mary A. Scroggins, 60, resident of Corpus Christi 50 years, died at her home, 621 Twelfth Street, at 10 o’clock yesterday morning.  Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock this morning from the home under the direction of David T. Peel.  The Rev. C. R. Brewster, pastor of the South Bluff Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in old Bayview Cemetery.  Surviving Mrs. Scroggins are her daughter, Mrs. L. B. Johnston of Corpus Christi, and two sons, John W. Reeves and J. F. Reeves.

Funeral Services were held at 9 o’clock this morning for Mrs. Mary A. Scroggins, 60, who died yesterday at her home, 621 Twelfth Street.  Services were conducted by the Rev. C. R. Brewster, pastor of South Bluff Methodist Church, at the Scroggins residence.  Mrs. Scroggins had been a resident of Corpus Christi for 50 years.  She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. L. B. Johnston of Corpus Christi, and by two sons, John W. Reeves and J. F. Reeves.  Burial was in Old Bayview Cemetery under the direction of David T. Peel.
