Obituary

Lived to a good old age
Seventy-seven were the years reached by Mrs. S. Staples at the time of her decease on Tuesday morning. It may truthfully be said that she died of old age. Her life went out peacefully and quietly, the delicate machinery giving way after years of unceasing wear. Mrs. Staples was the mother of Messrs. Wayman and William Staples, well known here, who, with their sister, Miss Ann, attended her in her last moments. Kindly cared for and loved by her children in her old age, death had no terrors.
