Obituary

DIED -- TINSLEY --- At the residence of Fred Kaler, near this city, February 29, 1888, at 12 o’clock midnight, Sarah A. Tinsley, mother of Mary Kaler, deceased, age 73 years, 7 months, and 25 days.

Mrs. Tinsley was a native of New York State, and came to Texas in 1860. For the past eleven years she resided near the city with her son-in-law, Mr. Kaler. Mrs. Tinsley was a true Christian lady and a member of the Methodist church. Her funeral took place from her late residence Thursday evening at 4 o’clock.
