    Death of Henry Uehlinger
    Henry Uehlinger, a well known business man of this city, who has been seriously ill for some days past suffering with liver trouble, died Monday Night at 10:30 o'clock. Deceased was well and favorably known here being member of the firm of Uehlinger Bros., the pioneer bakers, who have been doing business in Corpus Christi for the past 32 years. He was a native of Switzerland, where he was born June 19, 1852, and would have been 55 years had he lived a day longer. Ever since his arrival in Corpus Christi about 32 years ago he has remained here with the exception of a few months spent in San Antonio. Some years ago he was married to Miss Hettie Allen who, with two children survive him. He also leaves four brothers, John William, August and Conrad Uehlinger, and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Dreyer and Mrs. Reuthinger. Deceased was president of Freiheit Lodge Sons of Hermann and Order of United Workmen, under whose auspices the funeral took place at 4 o'clock Tuesday from the residence on Mesquite street. To the bereaved relatives The Caller extends deepest sympathy in their hour of grief.

    The funeral of Henry Uehlinger which took place from his late residence at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon was largely attended. The interment was made in old Bay View cemetery.
