QUITE DEATH
At ________ o’clock on Tuesday morning Mrs. Mary Wade, mother of Mr. John Wade of this city, quietly passed from this to the world beyond at the advanced age of 86 years. For a number of years she has been the almost helpless charge of her son, who, with the full assistance of his wife, has endeavored to make pleasant her declining days. Most of her time was spent in sleep, and it truly be said that she slept her life away. The translation from life to death was so quiet that it was painless, and a soul worn out with its stay upon this earth gladly exchanged its state with ______
