Obituary

Funeral services for Chris L. Young, 59, who died Tuesday night in San Antonio, were held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the David T. Peel funeral chapel.

The Rev. K. C. Minter, former pastor of South Bluff Methodist church, officiated at the service.

Mr. Young is survived by two brothers, W. W. Young of Corpus Christi, L. G. Young of Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Vetters of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Joe Lucas of Harlingen.

Mr. Young is a native of Corpus Christi.  Pall bearers were O. H. Johnson, Ernest Page, Horatio Gussett, Ben Mew, W. B. Berger, and R. R. Hall.

Burial was in the Old Bay View cemetery under direction of David T. Peel.

Chris A Young, fifty-nine, a native and former resident of Corpus Christi, died in San Antonio last night. He is survived by two brothers, Will Young of Corpus Christi, and L. J. Young of Washington, D. C. and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Vetters of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Joe Lucas of Harlingen.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the David Peel Chapel, with the Rev. S. L. Batchelor officiating.
